Job Title: Supplier Quality Engineer Location: Fort Worth, Texas
The SQE core responsibilities will be communicating with suppliers, validating concerns, root cause analysis, resolving product/paperwork holds, conducting audits & analyzing data for metrics.
Main Responsibilities: • Analyze & validate the reported internal supplier issues. o Determine cause & responsibility by reviewing drawings or specifications & measuring parts. o Notify suppliers, initiate containment, update internal systems & generate/ follow up on corrective actions. • Perform virtual & onsite supplier audits as needed. • Address products’ paperwork issues with suppliers & maintain the systems. • Maintain & generate reports/charts for metrics utilizing data mining from various support systems. • Accuracy, attention to details & appropriate turnaround time in all internal & external communication. • Experience in advancing a Zero-Defect culture utilizing advanced Quality tools such as statistical analysis, PFMEA,8D corrective acti on, A3 problem solving, 5 why analysis, Ishikawa diagrams and other six sigma tools. • Ability to solve a wide range of difficult problems in imaginative and practical ways and evaluate alternative solutions that may require coordination across multiple teams. Ability to establish goals and objectives to complete projects. • Prioritize tasks in a fast-paced work environment. • Travel 25% or less domestic and international.
Must Have Requirements: • Interpret blueprints, specifications & work instructions. • Hands-on expertise in measurement methods & tools. • Data analysis & mining – Pivot charts. • Root cause analysis / problem solving. • Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint) • Supplier quality audit experience. • US Person (under ITAR rules) to be eligible.
Preferred Requirements: • At least 5 years’ experience in demonstrated process improvement success; proven accomplishments utilizing Lean tools/methodologies; Structured Problem Solving, 5S, Mistake-Proofing and process capability tools required to drive the continuous improvement culture into the organization. • 4+ years’ experience as a Quality Engineer in Aerospace. • M.S. or B.S. degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, or related job experience. • APQP/PPAP background is strongly preferred but not required. • Net-Inspect experience is strongly preferred but not required.

Compensation: $90,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
