[What the role is]
Senior/Lecturer (Diploma in Aerospace Engineering /School of Engineering)
[What you will be working on]
- Conduct lectures, tutorials and student consultations for the following group of subjects related to:
Engineering Physics, Engineering Mathematics, Computer Programming and Data Analytics; and
Engineering Materials, Aircraft Systems, Aircraft Structures, Gas Turbine Engines, Aviation Legislation & Human Factors, Engine Maintenance & Workshop Practices
- Review, design and develop subject materials and assessment
- Address the diverse learning needs of students in class and ways to develop students’ potential holistically through a range of interventions and support mechanisms
- Supervise students’ internships and major projects
- Involved in staff/student projects with industry partners
- Collaborate with industry partners to enhance students’ learning via field trips and overseas programs
- Support lessons outside normal office hours whenever necessary
[What we are looking for]
- Relevant qualifications in Aerospace / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in aerospace R&D or MRO
- Passed or willing to take and pass CAAS SAR-66 M6 to M10 exams to be qualified Instructors for related subjects in the AEG curriculum
- A team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
- Possess a strong desire and affinity to share knowledge and interact with youth
- A self-starter who works well in cross-functional capacities and can integrate different disciplines of knowledge
