Role & Responsibilities:
As a Financial Controller, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial health of our company. You will oversee all financial operations, provide insightful analysis, and partner with leadership to drive strategic decision-making. you will be overseeing the entire financial operations and providing management with financial analysis, providing data, preparing reports, expenses, reviewing, analyzing and interpreting all financial and budgetary reports to management, budget and financial forecasts; and establishes necessary controls to safeguard the company's assets.
Responsibilities:
Financial Leadership:
Direct and manage the company's financial processes, including monthly financial statements, rolling forecasts, and annual budgets.
Conduct in-depth financial analysis to inform timely and impactful business decisions.
Review, analyze, and interpret financial and budgetary reports, recommending strategies to achieve company objectives.
Collaborate with leadership to ensure optimal return on capital spending investments.
Oversee financial audits and implement robust internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Strategic Partnership:
Partner with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives, such as daily scrums, kaizen events, and root cause analysis.
Contribute to the development of major economic objectives and policies.
Collaborate with the General Manager to support overall business goals and foster a positive work environment.
Qualifications:
10+ years plus in an accounting leadership role.
Accounting experience in a manufacturing environment (preferably in the aerospace industry).
Prior experience in cost accounting preferred.
CPA and public accounting experience, MBA and CGMA are a plus.
Proven experience in financial management and analysis
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
Advanced proficiency in financial software (e.g., ERP systems, budgeting tools)
