Aerospace Java Digital Expert

You're the indispensable link in the digital aerospace journey around the globe. Most of all, you'll help make digital innovations a reality. For example, you'll proudly stand next to the flight check-in that you've made possible. Whether it's that check-in, or payments, or compensation for flight delays: together with your colleagues in the international Product Team, you'll make sure customers are served as well and as personally as possible via the digital channels. 

This is what you will be doing:

• Leading the way, using the latest tools, such as JDK1.8+, Restful API's, Spring Boot, Groovy, Scala, JSON, Infinispan, Docker, Kubernetes and MongoDB, you'll develop a variety of applications for internal and external customers;
• Integration, testing and analysis. You'll spend every day developing in an innovative environment;
• Each day, you'll share what you're working on and thinking about in the stand-up meeting. This helps you learn from others, and helps others learn from you; 
• Together with the Social Technologies team, you'll integrate various social networks with our new possibilities in artificial intelligence, voice recognition and Salesforce. 

WHERE WILL YOU LAND?
In the beating heart of the Digital department where 800 professionals with a passion for technology work together in a global, social and diverse way. The way of working is lean and mean, with flex working spaces and good coffee. Your team consists of staff in the Netherlands, France and India. All motivated professionals who work at a high level with the latest tools. Working together intensively and across boundaries, and of course you'll sometimes travel to the other locations to achieve the best results.

Someone who, as a child, built a room-tidying robot from technical Lego. Who always thinks of a handy solution when something takes too much time or effort. Who is enthusiastic and curious. Working with you is a breath of fresh air, because you can quickly understand customers (and what they want). 

YOUR SKILLS 

• A university or HBO (university of applied sciences) degree and several years of experience as a Java developer;
• Experience with agile working, scrums and sprints;
• Knowledge of REST and Spring and Version Control Systems (GIT) and automated build tools (Bamboo).
