Aerospace Engineer Analyst
Job Summary:
Full-Time, Federal Contracting Position
In this position, you will
-
Analyze, organize, plan and administer various phases of day-to-day work.
-
Develop, plan, coordinate, and integrate related requirements to support operational needs.
-
Conduct studies, technical assessments, and system analysis to determine performance and effectiveness of aerospace systems and concepts.
-
Participate in analysis and evaluations of capabilities and operational concepts to
identify technology feasibility, operational viability, cost impacts, and more.
-
Prepare operating and malfunction reports and associated documentation.
-
Handle moderately complex products and/or problems of an advanced scope and may provide technical guidance to lower-level Analysts.
In this position, you may
-
Monitor and analyze strategic and operational aspects of political, military, and economic developments.

Analyze contractual documents, technical data, customer operation characteristics, and related reports.

Perform a wide variety of activities at customer sites and provide technical support
to customers in solving technical problems.

Assist engineering in determining and solving equipment design problems.
Requirements
-
Proficiency with hardware and software development and knowledge of Aerospace Engineering and Avionics.

Ability to work under general supervision and act independently.
Essential Duties

Apply Model Based Systems Engineering Principles

Ensure that system requirements and specifications are consistent with operational deployment environments and aerospace system design and testing.

Recommend innovative solutions for technical and operational problems.
-
Analyze and evaluate operational viability in relation to proposed concepts of operation and identify new possible concepts of operation.

Monitor and document component and system tests.
-
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications (Minimum years of experience, technical skills and tools, knowledge, etc.):
-
3 years of related experience
-
Knowledge of system test and validation processes.
-
Experience with root cause analysis and troubleshooting.
-
Experience with vulnerability assessment and risk management.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired years of experience, technical skills and tools, knowledge,
etc.):
-
5 years of related experience.
-
Knowledge and assessment of sensor phenomenology.
-
Able to use data reduction tools to analyze raw data and identify system limitation
-
Background in Developmental or Operational Testing.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field.

Β $135,000-$150,000
