Job Description: Supply Chain Program Manager, Space Systems

If so, join us as our Supply Chain Program Manager for the ISR Space business, where you will lead critical programs in partnership with customers and internal teams to advance our technology and mission solutions.


Essential Functions:



  • Leadership & Collaboration: Spearhead Space and Airborne Systems supply chain program management in partnership with Engineering, Program Management, and Operations. Drive alignment with commodity strategies, optimize the supply base, and achieve the lowest total acquisition cost.

  • Problem-Solving Excellence: Use a hands-on, cross-functional approach to identify pain points and drive improvements across processes. Bring your business acumen and passion to create best-in-class supply chain efficiencies.

  • Program Tracking & Risk Mitigation: Work closely with program leaders to coordinate deliverables, manage key program risks, and establish mitigation plans. Provide regular updates on program status, tracking long-term supply chain risks.

  • Milestone & Requirement Management: Oversee critical milestones, ensuring adequate material flow and inventory optimization through analysis of supplier capacity and capabilities.

  • Design for Excellence (DFx): Offer technical support for DFx by reviewing engineering changes and assessing supply chain impacts.

  • Continuous Improvement: Engage in process improvements to enhance product development and supply chain effectiveness.

  • Supplier Relations: Cultivate and manage supplier relationships to meet program and customer requirements. Partner with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality performance.

  • Cross-Functional Influence: Collaborate across a diverse team, including engineering, supply chain, and program managers, to ensure alignment on project goals.

  • Metrics & Strategy: Develop and monitor program-specific supply chain metrics, aligning with our long-term business strategy.

  • Customer-Focused Engagement: Build strong, high-level relationships with customers, understanding mission needs and constraints while effectively communicating our value proposition.


Qualifications:



  • Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years of experience, or a graduate degree with 10+ years. Without a degree, 16+ years of relevant experience is required.

  • Expertise in Supply Chain Program Management, preferably in aerospace or defense.

  • In-depth knowledge in supply chain within the aerospace/defense industry.


Preferred Additional Skills:



  • Secret clearance (preferred but not required).

  • Experience with contract types: FFP, FPIF, T&M, Labor Hour, and Cost Reimbursement.

  • Background as a Cost Account Manager for Subcontracts, with budget and forecasting skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to travel domestically to supplier locations periodically.
