TAT Piedmont for a qualified Production Control Manager. The Production Control Manager plays a critical role in the aerospace Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) industry by ensuring that production schedules are optimized and material resources are effectively managed. This role involves coordinating with various departments to streamline production processes, manage inventory, and expedite materials to meet project timelines and customer demands.

This is an Hourly position working day shift and some weekends.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Develop and maintain detailed production schedules based on maintenance requirements, customer orders, and resource availability.
  • Develops a materials plan that achieves on customer on time delivery and cost expectations.
  • Monitor and report key performance indicators that relate to operational performance. (turnaround time, on time delivery, material cost).
  • Prepare and present regular reports on production status, inventory levels, and material usage to management.
  • Acts as liaison between Production, Engineering, Purchasing, and Sales to ensure all information and materials are issued in timely support of the quoting process and overall repair plan.
  • Analyze production data to identify trends, forecast future needs, and recommend improvements.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing insights and recommendations based on production performance metrics.
  • Ensure that all production activities adhere to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of production schedules, material usage, and inventory levels.
  • Mange a team of material coordinators.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field preferred or a combination of education and related experience.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in production planning and expediting, preferably in the aerospace or manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of production planning principles, inventory management, and supply chain processes.
  • Proficiency in planning software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
