Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Costing Manager to join our team in the aerospace industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and analyzing the costs associated with our aerospace products and projects. This role requires a deep understanding of cost accounting, financial analysis, and the unique cost structures within the aerospace sector.
 
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain cost accounting systems and procedures for aerospace products and projects.
• Analyze and report on cost variances, identifying areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for new products, projects, and proposals.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and procurement teams to ensure accurate cost data and forecasts.
• Monitor and control project budgets, ensuring costs are within approved limits.
• Conduct regular cost reviews and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Provide financial analysis and support for pricing strategies and contract negotiations.
• Develop and implement cost control measures and best practices.
• Prepare and present cost reports and financial summaries to senior management.
• Stay updated on industry trends, cost drivers, and regulatory changes affecting the aerospace sector.
 
 
 
 
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or relevant certification (e.g., CMA, CPA) is a plus.
• Proven experience in cost accounting or financial analysis within the aerospace industry.
• Strong understanding of aerospace manufacturing processes, materials, and cost structures.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in cost accounting software and financial analysis tools.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in financial reporting.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements in aerospace costing.
