MAXISIQ is seeking experienced Senior Aerospace Engineers to support the U.S. Army Rapid Capabilities and Critical Technologies Office (RCCTO) in delivering advanced combat capabilities through rapid prototyping efforts. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in aerospace engineering and be skilled in developing, testing, and evaluating advanced technologies for military applications. This role requires leading and executing technical projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the successful integration of aerospace systems within the organization's mission. These are full-time positions located in Redstone Arsenal, AL with work anticipated to begin in mid-December 2024 upon award.
Duties involved in this role:
Oversee the engineering processes for prototype development, ensuring that designs meet military requirements and operational goals.
Manage the rapid prototyping of aerospace systems, working closely with RCCTO project teams to ensure timely delivery of experimental prototypes.
Conduct system-level testing and validation of aerospace technologies, ensuring compliance with Army standards and operational objectives.
Analyze the integration of aerospace systems into existing military platforms, ensuring compatibility and performance in diverse combat environments.
Perform detailed performance analysis, including aerodynamic, propulsion, and structural assessments.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, program managers, and military personnel, to execute technical projects aligned with RCCTO’s strategic goals.
Provide leadership on technical projects, including scheduling, resource management, and risk mitigation.
Prepare and present technical reports, design documentation, and test plans for senior leadership and stakeholders, providing for recommendations based on data analysis and performance outcomes.
Clearance Requirement: Active or current Secret level clearance minimum
Education: Bachelor’s degree or above in a related field.
Experience: 8-12 years of experience in aerospace engineering, with a focus on system design, development, and testing, preferably in a defense or government environment.
Experience with unmanned systems, missile technology, or directed energy weapons.
Familiarity with rapid prototyping and field testing processes.
